Description: Pacific Pottery in California made some great art deco shapes - vases and figurines - from about 1920 until 1940 Finished with a glossy white glaze, this vase is a great example of their interesting forms and attention to detail. It is about 6-3/4 inches tall and 3-7/8 inches across the irregular top rim. The lower round portion of the vase sits on a bottom rim that is about 2 inches in diameter and has the typical round raised lettering "PACIFIC MADE IN USA" with the shape number "3315" in the center. It is in good vintage condition - no chips, hairlines, or crazing. As shown in the photos, there are some tiny pinholes and tiny raised dots in the glaze that occurred during firing as well as a couple dark dots that probably resulted from tiny dust particles in the kiln.
