Description: Pair of Early 20th Century Tlingit Native Carved & Bent Horn Ladles with Mother of Pearl Inlay. This item is out of a private collection of a tribal judge who is retired and is moving out of state, he is the one who had the stand made. This is a wonderful early twentieth century Tlingit native hand carved horn ladles with mother of pearl eyes for each animal. This pair comes with a custom made stand. There is no signatures on either ladle. One ladle measures approximately 7 7/8" long by 2 1/4" wide. The other ladle is approximately 9" long by 2 3/4" wide. This item is previously owned. One mother of pearl eye is missing out of each ladle, the horns are early 20th century and have some oxidation to the horns, overall in great condition.
