Description: These 12” heavy Kenwood subwoofers are unused, still in the box. They were removed only for testing. They are very heavy: the magnet on each one is 28.9 ounces and the total weight is 7.5 lbs, which is heavy for a subwoofer. The problem is, neither speaker works and I am not sure why. I’m guessing there’s a problem with the wire somewhere and the speakers will have to be reconed. I do know there are recooning kits available for these speakers and with the heavy magnet and frame, it’s worth doing the work. You can find videos on replacing cones online: I am not able to do it for physical reasons or J would recone them myself. Please look at the pictures and ask questions before bidding. There’s no returns on these, they’re sold as is. Local pickup is available in the Charlotte, NC area.
