If your a collector you know the story of PEPPERHEAD Records and Steve Wilcox it's founder. He supposedly tripped out on drugs and disappeared never be seen again. I know the real story! A few years ago I met Steve Wilcox and we became friends. He told me the whole story. Even the fact that the name PEPPERHEAD Records was a mistake but everything was already printed so they went with it. Steve did kind of freak out and became very paranoid. He left his family and left the country. He traveled and lived in many places including Jamaica where he believes he was poisoned and he even ended up in a Mexican prison for many years. I found him a place to stay and I started collecting a few of the records he produced and planned on a joint project with him. I had him sign all my records and took pictures of it. He lived close and we were good friends for 2 years. He still was never settled mentally. Even after all these years and despite trying to talk him out of it he headed back out and is now somewhere in the Philippines. Who knows if anyone will ever see him again!!. That makes this the ultimate Pepperhead collection as no one else in the whole world has records signed by him ....and even with the proof. I'm only selling these off to fund a crucial project .
