Description: Here is an interesting photograph of Assistant Secretary of the Navy Franklin D Roosevelt. He is posed in a suit with Secretary of the Nave Josephus Daniels. Along with assorted generals and admirals. He was assistant Secretary of the Navy from about 1913-1920. The photo is 11” x 14” overall. I am not sure when this photograph was actually published. But Roosevelt is standing on his own and does not appear to be stricken. The image is sharp and clear and does not look like it has been copied numerous times. There is glue residue on the back that would have had a typed message. Likely naming all the people in the image. It is also likely, this was an official Navy photo. I am sure it was originally taken pre 1920, but possibly not released for publication for many years. The bottom border is rolled and creased. It does not affect the image. Sold is as is condition.
