Description: Details: A fantastic and wonderfully designed early Britannia silver Queen Anne period dog nose spoon with floral patterns throughout hallmarked clearly with the makers mark of Richard Hutchinson of Colchester c1708 although the rest of the mark is rubbed. The Hutchinsons were an eminent East Anglia silversmithing family of the late 17th and early 18th centuries. Very minor bend to the bowl. This is a wonderful item that would make a perfect gift or addition to any collection.
