And 5" tall with lid on (taking the pot belly into the mix).The jar is 15" round in circumference at widest point around "pot belly." I state the below on each of my listings: Please examine the photographs carefully as they are part of the condition and description of the item. (I am elderly and cannot take Super nice photos like others, but my items are just as lovely as those with better photos than mine.) This item comes from a Smoke free home. (We do have a pet cat, but he has no access to these items.) I use a ruler for you to get an idea how big the item is. However, my ruler does not always start at zero as I am trying to get the ruler to balance on the item. Therefore, please look at the number the ruler starts and you may need to do the math. Sorry. Please understand that most of my items are Vintage and have been loved and have a history of their own. Many of the items have small scratches or minor damage, scuffing and marring.
