"2000" Left Handed Fender American Standard Stratocaster signed by the Randy Rhoads Family. This Randy Rhoads Holy Grail guitar is worth every cent to me. If you believe my price is too high, please by all means go try to find anything out there that is this legit. NO SCAMMERS, NO CRAP.Ebay fees are not cheap anymore & I'm not throwing this guitar away for dirt cheap. This guitar was purchased directly from Fender Guitars in Corona, California. GUITAR IS IN GREAT CONDITION, plays beautifully. The neck & body are both stamped & dated from the Corona shop.This special guitar was signed by Randy Rhoads' mother Dolores Rhoads, Randy's brother Kelle Rhoads, Randy's sister Kathy Rhoads and Randy's best friend since 5 years old, bassist Kelly Garni from the original Quiet Riot. There is a special covering over all the autographs to protect their life, it may be removed without damage. The guitar was signed & dated by the Randy Rhoads' Family on March 19th, 2007 for the 25th/50th Anniversary IN PERSON at Randy Rhoads’ grave site if that matters to anyone. It was also the first day the Randy Rhoads' movie was being filmed at the cemetery where Randy is buried, I did a few interviews for the movie but there was a huge Iawsuit with aIIegations of fraud against Peter Margolis and others. “Fender American Standard Stratocaster 1986 – 2000”Last year of the American Standard Stratocaster was 2000, this guitar being from the first generation , it was then renamed as the "American Series Stratocaster" if what I was told was correct. Years later the American Standard name was restored but yet again in 2017, the American Standard Stratocaster was replaced by the American Professional Stratocaster. Serial Number # ZO284742, this guitar is beautiful. The guitar has a rosewood fingerboard and it's either Candy Apple Red, Fiesta Red, or Torino Red, that I do not remember. For a while I think that Hot Rod Red was called Torino Red. I'm not sure but I think somebody, perhaps the FORD company complained about the use of their model name "Torino" so I guess the name was changed to Hot Rod Red. Torino Red was offered on the Eric Clapton model. Anyways you won't see many of these in either colors especially in a 2000 Left Handed! I've replaced the original pickguard a few times and replaced the white volume knobs, pickup switch tip with black Fender USA Strat parts directly from Fender, so NO JUNK. I've also replaced the bridge pick with something way hotter but you will get the "original" Fender bridge pickup along with this guitar. You will receive the pickguard also that was on this guitar the day it was signed, see photos.The back cover I put on this guitar was originally from a vintage strat that was signed by Ozzy in person a very long time ago. Ozzy Osbourne's signature has worn off from years of playing but it sure adds to this GUITAR’S MOJO. There is also a Randy Rhoads metal nameplate super glued to the back of it. Dolores Rhoads has passed away so this guitar does carry it's weight. Guitar was also signed by Eddie Munster (Butch Patrick) in person in 2018, yeah now that's a bonus, laughs. I'm just looking to see this go to a decent human being who really loves Randy Rhoads. Guitar wiII be shipped in the skeIeton gig bag I keep it in.
