Description: Rare 19th century coin silver children's forks. The forks are identical made by the silversmiths William Wallace Willard & John Dean Hawley, active in Syracuse, N.Y from 1844 to 1859. They were gifts to Carrie - one from Emma & one from Anna shown on the engravings. The Willard & Hawley mark is clear. The unusual design of the forks make them very collectible. They are in fine condition and show no signs of wear other than the surface scratches seen on silver of this age.They are 5 3/8" long and together weigh 31.4 Grams or 1.10 Troy ounces.
