Description: Rare Bogen DO110 power amp.Gorgeous golden age amplifier.Fabulous cosmetics with NO rust to be found, all rivets and screw heads shine like new.Nice smoked glass output tubes, uses superior 6SN7 in the input stage. Amp seems to be good. Applied 30 then 40V ac to the amp and watched as the B+ rose to about 40Vdc. Did not try to recondition nor apply more ac voltage to the amp as I saw a some leakage of the power filter multicap on it's base under chassis.Importantly though I checked to make sure of that same B+ at the plates of the outputs 6V6s and yes it was there so output tyranny is not open and is passing B+ through its windings to power the output tube pair, as designed. Even the old waxy coupling caps were doing their job blocking that B+ to the signal grids of the 6V6s reading 0.001VdcHaving just 1 of these amps I did not recap it knowing a buyer may well have another and want to use same caps in both for a nice matched stereo pair. Looks like a quite simple job. So, working and needs restoration for daily use.Been in my AC home for 15+ years, time to share. Nice opportunity on this minty golden age power amp.
