The print is hand-numbered 22/250 and is signed MOHLER. We believe it dates from the early 2000s. It is a beautiful classical composition from we believe Cowan’s “The Age Of Innocence” series. It was presented to us with the title "Reverence" but we were unable to find another example of it anywhere and are therefore unable to confirm its name or the series it belongs to. Cowan is one of the world’s most highly regarded portrait artists and his tremendous skills are seen in this wonderful piece. Cowan claimed that his inspiration for his “Age of Innocence” series and his two “Promenade” series came from his inner child, described as showing viewers “a world of beauty and limitless possibilities through the minds of children.” The frame is fairly large measuring roughly 30 5/16” x 26 5/16” x 1 1/8”. The actual visible image print area looks to measure roughly 15 3/8” x 19 3/8”. The rear of the giclée where the canvas is attached to the wooden canvas frame measures 16” x 20”. The framed print weighs roughly 10 lbs 8 oz. The print looks to be in good shape and appears to be free of any apparent damage other than a few nicks and/or scratches. The frame looks to be in good shape although it does exhibit scratches, nicks, edge wear, and dings.
