Description: For Sale: *Non-competitive social running clubs get together to organize an event called a Hash (or Hash Run). *Hashers are the runners in these events. *Hashing, therefore, is the activity of running in such an event. *Hashers are known for their consumption of beer, and sometimes the Hash is humorously known as “a drinking club with a running problem”! These groups get together to socialize, run, drink mostly beer, dress funny, try new interesting trails, and just flat out have a lot of fun together! They have their own set of traditions, including crazy names, fun clothing, symbols & logos, and it’s all really just so interesting to research! This T-shirt for sale is from such a Hash event that took place on October 11-13, 2014 in Tokyo, Japan. It’s called the Japan Nash Hash, put on by Antenna America. Their slogan, as seen at the top of the stage design in the shirt front, is “Rock Out With Your Chalk Out”! The back of the shirt is filled with a huge number of individual hashers, by their personal hashing names… which are mostly quite inappropriate, so this shirt could be considered rated R! Many of the names are humorous, several are a play on words, some relating to other social or pop culture references, some relating to movies, and some just flat out vulgar! The size is Large; the maker of the T-shirt is on the tag, “Panau Tees” The condition of the shirt is great! White is still very white, no armpit or collar stains, no discoloration, no fading or grunge anywhere. **There is one small snag on the left front/side of the shirt, which I have shown up close in the last photo. The snag does not have a hole, so it’s hard to see. The graphic on the front shows some pull over into the white on the black part of the box, but I think this was the way it was printed. You can see the same marks in a few places near the bottom of the graphic itself. I have not been able to find anything else like this on the Internet for sale, and it was very hard to find information on this event at all! If this sounds interesting to you, maybe you can spend a little more time and learn more than I did. Perhaps you are a runner yourself, or know someone who is, and they can help you with some more details. But this is a very cool, very unique, obviously rare piece that I hope someone out there can enjoy! but you might not want to wear it to church or when you drop off your kids at school😃
