Awa Tsireh, who is also known as Alfonso Roybal belonged to the San Ildefonso tribe and was world renowned for his jewelry making skills as well as his watercolor paintings. Awa Tsireh worked mainly with Sterling silver, copper and aluminum. This Museum Quality tray is made out of an aluminum alloy and is beautifully hand hammered and hand stamped with traditional Native American motifs.
