Description: When this locality was open, minerals from this locality were pretty common. Now that it is an extinct locality like so many great North Carolina mines, specimens are quite scarce and only come out of old collections like this one did. The specimen is nearly perfect all over with beautiful wavellite crystals. There is also light blue lazulite growing throughout near the top which makes the specimen quite colorful. Near the top is a large vug that has round spheres that I think is a different crystal form of wavellite but I'm not 100% sure. Very neat old piece that comes with an older label. 4.8x4x2 cm
