Description: Living History, Inc. of Shenandoah, Iowa began publishing "Re-Issues" of Harper's Weekly in 1961 to commemorate the 100 year anniversary of the Civil War. Each reprint is only distinguished from the original by the existence of the Reissue notice on the front cover. However, it is not clear to me that the "RE-ISSUE" identification on the date banner on my copy is the same as the Reissue copies produced by Living History. All of them that I have found online have a disclaimer "The Reissue of" above the title on the front cover, and also a small paragraph on the bottom of page two. Mine has only the word and the not the 3-word disclaimer and there is no paragraph on page 2. Still, this appears to be a RE-ISSUE nonetheless, whether it be part of this series or not. I will assume it is a 1960s era reprint and price accordingly. It is in VERY GOOD CONDITION, with small corner wear and creases, and it is folded in the middle. There are 8 leaves, 16 pages (counting the front and rear cover pages), paginated from 274 behind the title page to 288 as the back cover. GREAT FULL PAGE ILLUSTRATIONS AS SHOWN. The paper will be stored and conveyed flattened pressed against cardboard which should help with the center crease. EPH
