They are considered a fern with red roots and can also become a slightly red leaf as well. These floaters are a great addition to your aquarium or pond due to the benefits it offers the average aquarist. They are low maintenance, offer shelter for fish, they are beautiful, and aids in the beneficial health of your aquarium. Red root floaters absorb the nutrients through the roots like any other plant. Due to the fact that the roots are submerged into the water, they impact the closed habitat. Red root floaters can help to oxygenate the water while also removing toxins that could harm your fish. You will get a tracking number, it is important you check this tracking number 2-3 times each day to see when the box will arrive at your home. Please make sure you are at home the day of the arrival or arrange for someone to be there to receive the plants/shrimp and that they know how to properly care for the plants/shrimp. The less time they spend in the box the better. Shore Aquatic ships Monday -Thursday depending on location in order to avoid the weekend. In the rare event livestock shows up dead, we must be notified within 2 hours of delivery. Keep in mind these plants/livestock just took the journey of their lifetime in a dark box for 2-4 days so they will take time to recover and to be at their best again. Please take clear photos of the dead plant/livestock and send it to us within 2 hours of receiving the item and send the clear photos to once the item is validated by us, we will send a replacement or refund. Failure to comply with one or more of these policies will mean we can no longer cover you. We guarantee live arrival of all livestock. This means we assure that livestock will show up alive. We do not guarantee your success in keeping the livestock alive/healthy. Lots of outside factors that we cannot control go into the success or failure of keeping livestock healthy. We try not to have snails/pests, but it happens, we remove any visible imperfections before shipment however to be 100% certain we suggest that you either do a 1:20 ratio bleach to water dip and/or wash the plants.
