Rod is in near mint condition and appears unused or, if used, very well cared for. When Larry Kenney sold Scott he agreed to stay on for a 5 year transitional period to help the new owners. According to information I've received this is the last model that he designed before he retired from Scott, making this his Legacy rod. After his retirement, as many fly fishing anglers know, Larry continued his passion for fly rods by creating individual, custom made fly rods for discerning customers. A member of the Golden Gate Angling and Casting Club, his expertise is well known both locally and internationally. The rod was built on an unmarked Original Scott G blank with a heavier tip for longer casting distance. Cork handle is intact and clean, reel seat is unmarked with a wooden insert, guides are clean and tightly wrapped and ferrule is tight. Rod weighs 3.4 oz. Sleeve and tube are original to the rod. A beautiful, earlier model rod designed by an acclaimed rod maker from a company known for producing high quality rods.
