Description: Set of 6 Cauldon Hand Colored Pink Rose Floral & Gold 8 7/8 Inch Antique Plates Set of 6 antique British bone china plates. Decorated with hand colored pink and yellow roses, and other flowers in yellow, white, pink, blue, red, and purple. Gold gilding along the edge. Marked on the bottom Cauldon England in black. This mark was used between 1890 to 1904. Also has a retailer mark for Higgins & Seiter New York and the pattern number in red. These have some wear consistent with age and use, wear to the gilding, one of the plates has a tight discolored crack and a small chip to the back edge, and one of the other plates has a small chip to the back edge. Each plate measures approximately 8 7/8 inches wide. These are antiques and may have small in manufacture defects that do not affect the display of the piece. GX
