Description: This French Country coffee or tea set was made in France and attributed to the Sarreguemines region. Done in a fabulous drip glaze of mustard gold and chocolate brown, the set showcases applied flowers and an animal head shaped spout. Please be aware that the glaze technique leaves rough edges around the bottoms and even cup rims and the flaws from their hand-made nature seem to be inherent to this glaze. Comps are hard to find, and age is unknown -- certainly vintage, likely antique. Included:Coffee or Tea pot with Lid - 10" high, holds 6 cups.6 - Cups - 2 1/4" high, hold 6 oz.6 - Saucers - 5" diameter.All pieces are in very good condition with few exceptions: There is a 1/8" chip on the lower edge of the coffee lid that sits inside the pot.
