DVD part has the door detached, I'm not sure if it is missing a spring, the door does not look broken, but won't stay in place, although I haven't tried much in order not to break it. When trying to open the DVD tray, it will not open unless you manually rotate slightly the white gear at the bottom (see pictures). The VCR side, ate a tape which could be retrieved at the moment but no further testing was done after that. Comes with its original remote control, which works great. Batteries are not included.
