Description: Description: Soundsulate acoustical ceiling tiles are an excellent choice for absorbing sound within a room. They fit into a standard ceiling grid and can be cut easily with a utility knife. The backside of the tiles are made from high quality soft fiberglass and then finished with a rigid, matte black non-woven fabric. Light fixtures should be installed onto the ceiling grid and not the tiles themselves. Effective Sound Absorption: Black Acoustical Ceiling Tiles eliminate unwanted ceiling boundary reflections and control excessive room reverberation as well as slap-echo between parallel floor and ceiling surfaces.
