Description: Up for sale is a Squier Contemporary Active Precision V 5-string bass neck. It was deemed defective from the factory and was stamped USED on the back of the headstock with part of the serial number scratched off. This indicated a defect of some kind. Cosmetically, nicks and scratches. Functionally, the truss rod seems to be partly stripped but it intermittently adjusts; loosened the neck has a moderate forward bow and tightened to the maximum it gets straight. However, I have not strung it up so it may have fine tuning issues.
