The Klingon D7 Battle Cruiser has been taken from the Lightwave CG models that were used in the TV series and movies to ensure an incredible level of accuracy and detail. The D7 class posed serious problems to the security of the Federation throughout the 2270s. This was at a time when there was a cold war between the two powers, which had been going on since at least 2223. From the Star Trek Starships Collection, The Klingon D-7 Battle Cruiser is recreated in die-cast and plastic materials, then hand painted with an incredible level of detail.
