Description: This beautiful sterling silver bowl by S.Kirk & Son features a stunning repousse pattern and measures 6 1/2 inches in diameter and 1 1/4 inches in height. The bowl is perfect for any occasion and is a great addition to any collection. Crafted from high-quality sterling silver, this bowl is sure to last for years to come. It has an untouched patina since at least the mid 1900s so I imagine cleaned up. This bowl would be incredible to look at. The Repousse is deep and extremely well done. It weighs approximately 4.6 ounces and is either a berry bowl or a bonbon bowl. The hallmark indicates it was made between 1846 and 1861. This maker originates in Baltimore, Maryland and is one of the most well-known makers of Repousse sterling silver items of its time!! I have a vast collection of S. Kirk and son sterling silver items as well as stieff which I believe dates after this maker. All sales are final. I offered two different types of shipping. And all my sterling silver items are kept in the patina of many many years being stored away. I leave that up to the buyers discretion because I know some prefer unpolished.
