Feathers are great for a number of applications and include feathers suitable for palmering collars and for stripping the fibers for wings and tails. Marabou is one of the most used and versatile fly tying materials. It can be used for tying tails on streamers, wrapping collars, palmering bodies, stripped and tied as a wing, for weighted jigs or even spun and used as a high action dubbing. The following colors are available: Red, Orange, Chartreuse, Brown, Salmon, Tray Dun, Green and Golden Olive Some fly patterns using marabou include Woolly Buggers, Hoh Bo Spey, Intruders, Alaskabou, leeches, minnows, tube flies, large articulated streamers, jigs, saltwater flies and various Speys.
