This pot has a square base, a square shaft with a small high bead. The rim is square with a tapered bead. Dimensions Height - 27" Base - 12" x 12" This wonderful piece is from a private collection in North Yorkshire. The residence is a feature property in a quaint york stone and red brick built North Yorkshire village and the collection has been put together over a life time of reclamation and construction. The property has a history reaching back to 1697 and once served as the local areas blacksmiths, the owner is certain that a number of the items were used for thier original purpose at this site.
