This elite bermudagrass seed germinates quickly, has excellent turf quality and good wear tolerance. Bermuda Rio is dark green, fine bladed and dense. Each seed is coated with Watergard NP® to provide 2X water retention and a nutrient charge to give the seedling a healthy start. To protect from Pythium as well as damping-off and poor seed germination under cool and wet environmental conditions, The Andersons Rio Bermuda seed is treated with Apron XL® fungicide. Plant 2 to 3 lbs of seed per 1,000 sq ft. SEEDING WITH RIO BERMUDA GRASS SEED ESTABLISHMENT1. Plant in full sunlight when soil temps are consistently 65°F and on the rise2.
