Description: Hold on to your socks, kids: original promo tee for Stay Sick, album and tour, 1990. Another rare, sought-after fan favorite, these are in very short supply these days, and I got my grubby little hands on two (only one of which I'm listing). Now, I want to be clear about a few things. When I found this thing, it was obviously too dope to resist, but there was some badly needed work if it was going to live up to "slim punk standards." See, I don't like to list "thrashed" items, as they're known colloquially here on eBay. They may still be very valuable, but I just don't like the idea of selling something with rips, even if they've developed organically and look kind of dope. Small holes are one thing (and this one does have its share), but big ones are problematic because they're vulnerable: a misplaced thumb here or any random protuberance there--these things can lead to some big ass rips. So, having moved to Houston recently, I had to locate a new seamstress, and I found the best in town (Vietnamese, she's like a surgeon). So you can plainly see that the rips, of which there were several, have all been adequately rehabbed. Now, beyond that, we're just talking about some fairly typical, well-worn wear: fully broken in, the once black sheen has now faded to a dope charcoal, with a few forgivable bleach stains near the bottom hem (all of this is pictured). But the "hang" on this thing couldn't be any more dope--drapes over the bod like it was born to be there--a true work of vintage scrumptiousness. Thin but not sheer, this thing will be around for the long haul. Believe it or not, I can tell by the wisp of tag that it's a large Screen Stars (compare to the other one I have, not listed, but that makes an appearance in exactly two of the pics, both of which should render as obvious). This puppy fits and feels so vintage that it's not even funny. Some of the most iconic artwork on a completely sturdy but punked out shirt--the ideal blending of form and content. So, just for sh*ts and giggles, we're gonna let this one ride, kids. Let the bidding begin. Bikini girls with machine guns....Crampingly dope.
