Description: Item Description:13 Volume set of the New Schaff-Herzog Encyclopedia of Religious Knowledge. Ed. by Samuel Macauley Jackson. Baker Book House (Grand Rapids), 1957. Generally VG condition with a few notes. Minor 1"x3" soiling stain on the bottom of back cover of volume 1; only very faintly affects a few back pages within. A previous book dealer has pasted a plate on the first free endpaper where they penciled in condition issues of the entire set. The pages that stick out from the page block (see photos) are not loose pages, just miscut pages during the manufacturing process. Minor foxing spots on page edges. Some marks on pastedowns and front free endpapers from previous stores. Minor toning to paper. General signs of some storage wear to edges and corners. All the above, in totality for a 13 volume set, is very minor. I am selling off some of my overstock and selling off a bunch of sets. Please help me save time and you money by examining photographs carefully.
