Description: This is a rare book from the 19th century. It was published on 1875 by J.W. Pepper and Son. It looks like the previous owners did restore the cover with a peculiar red pattern wrapping paper although it is hard to tell when it was done. Based on the history with the previous owners and some other books I inherited from them, it may have been restored before 1970s. The Violin: Its Famous Makers and Their Imitators by George Hart is a very interesting reading especially for violin lovers and collectors.
