Description: Beautiful early 1900s handpainted Tirschenreuth of Bavaria porcelain plate decorated with a lily of the valley motif and gilding on accent flowers as well as the rim. Signed by the artist "Joures". Approx 8.5" diameter. Made in Germany. Green printed mark features PT initials, shield, wreath and crown. Plate is in excellent vintage condition without chips, cracks or crazing. Paint and gilding are intact, and colors are vibrant. See pictures for details. This was likely made as a cabinet plate and would display very well in a wide variety of settings. (DL-20-11)
