Three Easy Ways to Apply TotalBoat Wet Edge Topside Paint Brushing For better flow out when brushing, thin Wet Edge with either TotalBoat Special Brushing Thinner 100 or mineral spirits (5-10% by volume). To ensure a proper cure, apply 2-3 thin coats rather than thick coats. Color shown: TotalBoat Wet Edge Classic Whaler Blue. Rolling & Tipping For best results, the person holding the roller "rolls" vertically, applying an even coat of paint. The person with the brush "tips" horizontally. We recommend a natural bristle brush or a badger hair brush for tipping, instead of a foam brush, which will drag the paint away, rather than level it. Color shown: TotalBoat Wet Edge Fighting Lady Yellow. Spraying When spraying, thin Wet Edge with xylene (thinning percentage varies by the sprayer and conditions, typically 15-20%).
