HANDPAINTED PORCELAIN “MAKKUM” HEXAGONAL DISH 4” x 4” (FOR NUTS, CANDY, ETC.): COPPER LUSTER BORDER/FRUIT IN BASKET (YELLOW PEARS & BLACK GRAPES), green leaves, strings of cobalt dots, chocolate curls on sloping, ribbed walls of shallow well. Signed “MAKKUM” (a mark we can’t find) and with crossed flowers within a shield and ARTIST’S SIGNATURE “TS”, all in chocolate. Footrim pierced for hanging display. Very good condition except for one or two tiny scrapes to luster rim. AN UNUSUAL LITTLE GEM TWO OF US HAVE HAD SEEMINGLY FOREVER.
