Description: These are really special. And very hard to come by what we have here is a pair of Carlie Tart watermelon, mouth, frog sculptures. If you look closely, you will see that it is a boy and a girl, the little girl has what appears to be a ponytail and is wearing a girls costume. The boy is wearing recommend one piece vintage swimsuit type thing. The girl is shorter than the boy. These are absolutely fantastic. I got them at this excellent estate sale that had all these great collectible items. I’m also listing a bowl from the same group, but it is not signed. I can only assume it is by the same artist, but I cannot prove it so I’m listing it on a separate listing. I have been selling for years and I have never seen a pair of these before, only some random singles occasionally, and they have not been as vibrant and spectacularly glazed as these with their bright red mouth and they’re cute costumes. Girl is approximately 6 inches tall and the boy is approximately 7 inches tall Here is a little bit of information that I found on the Internet about the artist Sadly, Carlie Tarts passed away December 15, 2006.
