Description: Victorian Ladies 9ct Gold Chain & Pendant The pendant and chain both date to the Victorian period around 1880 - 1900 The chain is made of 9ct solid gold and is hallmarked 9K The pendant is made of 925 sterling silver and had been gold gilded over the silver which was a popular practise in Victorian times. The gold gilding is in good condition, but has a tiny bit of wear on the back which is very minor. The pendant is set with a cluster of stunning turquoise stones which are pave set in a round domed bombe . All the stones are original and are a variety of blue and green natural colours. All the stones are in good condition with no damage or marks. It is a superb quality piece of antique jewellery which is beautifully made. The chain is in beautiful original condition with no damage or repairs. Chain length - 19 inches x 1.5 mm wide. Pendant Measures - 3 cm full height including bale x 1.1 cm wide. Chain weighs - 2.34 grams of 9ct solid gold. Pendant weighs - 1.43 grams of 925 silver.
