The design is carried over to the cover which features saw tooth beading and a removable finial. The underplate is pierced and the biscuit box rests on 4 claw and ball feet. Condition: The biscuit box is in good condition as shown in the pictures. The silver plate is shiny and bright and there are no visible repairs, dents or monograms. The inside of the biscuit box is clean and usable and the hinge is sturdy. The finial is removable. Size: It measures 8 inches wide and stands 7.5 inches tall.
