Vintage 1950's American Character 8" Betsy McCall Doll Red Head 2 Costumes

Description: ITEM DESCRIPTION: Cute vintage brown eyed, red head 8" Betsy McCall doll with pretty facial paint, synthetic wig, sleep eyes with molded lashes, painted lower lashes, eyebrows, lips and lightly blushed cheeks. Good condition torso, legs and arms. Perfect fingers. Made of hard plastic and jointed at the neck, shoulders hips and knees. Marked in a circle on her lower back. She is wearing an original red, black and white outfit that includes the body suit, skirt, and hat. Closes with snaps. On her feet, black boots. She also has a black pants and paisley shirt costume.CONDITION:Good played with condition. Face paint is good and original. Clear, working sleep eyes with molded lashes. Wig is thick and in original set - although on the dry side with fly-aways. Her hairline is high on her forehead - these doll often seem to have that, right from the factory. Perfect fingers and toes. Head and arms are on tightly. Her hip and knee joints are very loose and she cannot stand alone. I don't have a stand for her. She has some tiny cracks to her knees. Skin surface is clean and even-toned. No seam splits, bites, or large stains. Costume is in good played with condition with working closures, light over all age soil, some loose threads. Boots are not damaged.
