Description: This is the earliest hard-to-find plain white nylon netting, lace-trimmed chemise marketed with the first year Betsy McCall doll only (approx 1957).In subsequent years, American Character marketed the doll with a pink/green floral pattern chemise.Here, the elastic is a tad stretched out but the item still stays up on the doll. There’s a very mild dinginess and yellowing, no stains, no snags but it does have a few areas of broken stitches/netting that result in tiny holes (see photo of rear seat area) — it’s minuscule and doesn’t bother most but we’re noting it here to fully describe the item for collectors.See photos for more information.This doll (Toni, 10.5”) is not included.
