There are no broken or chipped pieces. There is an underlying stress cracking underneath the gloss all around. The lid is in good shape no broken pieces. The lid has a walnut for a handle. There are cookie shapes that stick out all around. The bottom is engraved with a name and the date 1973. It stands about 11". It is a little dirty all around and has not been thoroughly cleaned since purchased.
