Description: This unusual Carvin head dates to 1980. A lot of original parts show 1979 codes; with January 1980 on a transformer. This amp boasts a quad of EL34 tubes for power section crunch; it's excellent for performing metal or rock due to the bi-channel configuration; the guitarist can switch among A, B, or A+B channels together. Wonderful slider EQ and reverb control for each individual channel. Everything works! Switch cabling is a bit "exposed" at one end but functions fine; perhaps shield it with reinforcing tape if it is going to be subject to a lot of moving and handling.
