This basket features a fully woven lid with added blue and red maple splints that is attached with leather straps. There are two swinging handles to allow for easy access to food. There is a toggle closing to avoid anything falling out or curious fingers. The 12 x 12 size is perfect for your lunches or cupcakes, pies etc. Longaberger started out using oak for handles, this rare basket features oak handles and an oak framed lid. This awesome picnic basket has nice patina.
