Description: For sale is a 3dfx Voodoo5 5500 AGP video card with 64MB of RAM. This is the fastest video card released by 3dfx (not counting unreleased models), sporting two VSA-100 chipsets. This video card has been tested in Windows ME using Glide, Direct3D, and OpenGL, and it is working. This variant only has a VGA port. The AGP connector only works in motherboards which support AGP 2X connections, which means most Pentium 4 motherboards cannot take this. It requires a separate power connection. Official drivers are available for Windows 95, 98, ME, NT 4.0, and 2000. For Windows XP, you'll need a modified third-party driver to enable full functionality of the card; the one included in the base Windows XP driver set does not support all of its features. The fans on this video card spin well, and don't make abnormal noises. If you want better cooling, you may wish to consider getting 40mm Noctua fans, but you will need to either connect these to some Molex fan adapters or, if you're really handy, you could theoretically crimp their wires to a connector which fits these on the card. This card will come with a Molex to SATA power adapter, which is most useful if you're using this in a computer with a modern power supply.
