Description: 70s/60s Vintage ELINOR GAY Art Deco boho Maxi Dress -The Elinor Gay line began in the 1940s, located in NYC -The line was originally sold at Saks, and Bloomingdales to name a few. -This is a rare, special vintage piece! Label tag vintage 18, about a large in modern. Maybe even a XL as there some stretch Measures ; 40" bust, 32" waist, open across at hips, 57.5" length, No material tag multicolour navy and yellow gold colors (model picture is the dress in purple, posted to show the fit) This dress was made in a few different shades back in the 60s/70s -Due to its age (60+years) it has many marks of wear and damage I tried to take as many pictures as I could so please see and zoom in: some discoloration on the front /back, under the left armpit is discolored the most, some a couple stitched up area where the dress was torn. Some little holes. Ripped seam zipper area, unstitched in middle V of the bust -Back zipper works perfectly, and honestly due to the busy pattern many of the imperfections are not extremely apparent but there is a lot of damage! I’m sure there are things I missed but I would def wear it like that if it fit me. I’m not a huge perfectionist I’m more creative when it comes to my vintage outfits! Price reflects flaws.
