Description: Vintage 1950's/1960's rare and hard to find plug-in electric illuminated lit lighted hanging lamp light - "Calvert Extra, The Soft Whiskey" whisky liquor sign with great MCM mid-century modern autumn earth tone colors, details and graphics. Small print reads "Blended Whiskey, 86 Proof, 65% Grain Neutral Spirits, Calvert Distillers Co., N. Y. C.". The plug-in hanging swag style lamp sign has great bright circle patterns. The sign is made of a thin plastic cylinder with an open bottom and thick pressed board top with bulb, cord and plug. The long factory cord has an inline roller on/off switch. The light and switch have been tested and work well lighting up the sign very brightly. The lamp light sign measures 9 3/4" tall with a diameter of 5". There is a small crack along the bottom rim as pictured that could use tape repair. The plastic cylinder has buckled a bit so a pencil inserted pushes the the buckling out as pictured, The sign is in overall very good used working condition with some use and storage wear as pictured and as noted. It displays and works beautifully. It is a nice item for the bar, pub, man cave, garage, game room, etc. It is sold as is and as pictured with returns not accepted. $12.00 USPS postage.
