Description: Rolex Oyster Perpetual Date Ref. 1500! This is a great vintage 1979 Rolex Date ref. 1500 on the Rolex folded link Oyster bracelet! This one comes with open Rolex warranty papers with matching serial number. No name or date of purchase. The watch is in a 34 mm stainless steel case with 19 mm lugs. The case, crystal, and bracelet show minor scratches. The bracelet shows average stretch from wear. (80-85%) The case back is date-coded 11.72 indicating it was produced in the second quarter of 1972. The watch will currently fit about a 7 1/4" wrist.Serial number 3107xxx, dates to 1972. Model and serial numbers are readable between the lugs.The dial on the watch has some slight discoloration around the edge - see photos. All functions work properly; however, we do not know the service history on this watch and it is not keeping time.
