There is a maker's mark "J.S" stamped in a shield and the brooch is marked "9ct". On the rear of the brooch is a suspension ring. The pink tourmaline measures 5/16" (0.8cm) x 5/16" (0.8cm). The brooch measures 11/16" (4.5cm) x 3/4 " (1.8cm) and weighs 3.6 grams. Lovely detailing on the mounting. As noted in the photo, one of the seed pearls is missing.
