This unique feature assures your pieces are kept secure so they won't get lost while traveling. The board and all 32 pieces are made of wood. Each piece has a magnet base which keeps it magnetically attached to the board. Both drawers are lined with brown fabric. There's a small nick on the bottom below one of the drawers. Otherwise, the entire set is in excellent condition. Measurements: King - 2.25" tall, board - 10" square, playing area - 8" square, each square - 1".
