The lamp is made of a brown metal with a slight texture to it. It has been tested for functionality. It is unbranded. I can not say for certain, but I believe the light dates to the 1940s, maybe the early 1950s. It is adjustable front to back, side to side, up and down. You can easily adjust the lamp to your desired height! The light shows a patina that is commiserate with its age. There are no dents in the metal, nor scratches on the paint. The finish on the base shows moderate discoloration. It is not cracking or peeling. This can be seen clearly in the last photo. The metal end caps show light patination.
