Vintage Compact Interstate Vacuum With Hassock And Orig Receipt

Description: A collectors dream! This is my in-laws vacuum that they purchased brand new in April 1961 making it over 60 years old! Included with this auction is the Compact vacuum by Interstate, stowaway hassock for hiding your vacuum and accessories, hose, wand, extension wand, crevice, and other tools and equipment extra bags for the vacuum, original paperwork that came when purchased I believe this was probably a door to door salesman that sold it and you got bonuses for referring friends and having him do a presentation and if you did 10 appointments in ten days you recieved the free stowaway Hassock by by Barnett measuring 20x22x16”. The Hassock is needing repair work as the chain- at hinge - is broken and The outer covering has tears and splits at seams. I need to double check to make sure it is working, but i think the on/off switch is missing? UPDATE!! I found the hidden on off switch! What is missing is a little cover where you could attach hose to use as a blower. There is tape covering hole. I did not offer shipping as i feel the weight of the hassock and item is too great. However, i am not saying it cant be done, but will be rather expensive I’m sure due to size and weight.
