Vintage Dalian Vase Cased Glass, Swirled With Ruffled Edge

Description: Vintage Dalian Cased Glass Vase, Art Glass, Smoke-Like Swirled Vase & Ruffled Edge is in very good condition. This Vase made by the company Snowflakes based in Dalian and though the body is not hand blown, the stunning ethereal smoke-like swirls are applied by hand and unique to every piece, the opaque colors, white interior & yellow were popular in the 1950's. The vase shows a nice and graceful detail. This is offset by the opaque white core with the thickness of the pale yellow colored layer giving the strength of the color. The body is cased in colorless glass, making three layers. Finally, swathed all around the body are the different colored smoke-like curls and swirls, which remind me of a watercolor paintbrush dipped into water, they're elegant and sublime. This particular version of the Snowflake graduates to a deep reddish orange towards the base and finished with a ombre orange to red neck ending at the rim.
